Owner and Counselor

Jennifer Sutton

(she/her/hers) M.ed LCMHC

In 2019, Jennifer founded Chronic Hope Counseling to create a safe and supportive space where people could come as they are and begin to heal. A few years later, she expanded her mission by founding Chronic Hope Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to offering even more resources and support for those navigating life with chronic conditions.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, Jennifer believes every client’s journey is unique. She tailors her approach to fit each person’s needs, drawing from techniques like CBT, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Jennifer has worked exclusively with clients living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and disability for 7 years, becoming the trusted specialist in North Carolina by professionals and clients alike. Over the years, she has developed a deep understanding of how chronic conditions affect the body, mind, spirit, and nervous system. She is passionate about helping people regain their power and life from their illness/disability.

Whether you’re looking for a goal-oriented plan or simply a compassionate space to process what you’re going through, Jennifer will meet you where you are and walk (or roll) with you at your pace.

If you’re ready to feel heard, supported, and empowered in your healing, Jennifer would be honored to be part of your journey.
